Max Factor Face Finity Foundation and Creme Puff Pressed Powder | Review
Hi everyone!
So today I'm going to be reviewing the Max Factor Face Finity
Foundation and Creme Puff Pressed powder.
I will start off with my review of the Face Finity Liquid Foundation, I was looking around Boots and swatching
a few different foundations but I couldn't really
find a shade that properly matched my skin and because
I have quite a pale pinky-ish skin tone everything seemed too
orange. I then found the Max Factor section and saw that they had a
good range of shades and more importantly one that matched me, I got the shade Light Ivory 40. It also claims
to be a Primer, Concealer and foundation in one but I did notice that there was a face finity primer available,
I think I paid around £11.99 which, in my opinion, is more on
the pricey side of drugstore foundations but it is worth the money.
So firstly I'll start off with coverage, I was quite impressed with the coverage of this foundation. It covers up any
unwanted freckles or patches on your skin, it also
conceals redness really well which I was very pleased
with. I usually need use just under one pump and that covers my whole face and enough for me to go over any imperfections or dark
circles around my eyes as concealer.
Next I'll go on to how long it stays on for, it states on the bottle 'All Day Flawless', I don't know whether it means
all day as in the whole day you're at school or work or
all day as in all day but it does last me from 8:30 through 'til after 4 which is when when I need it to stay until. It's not amazing at staying on in rain although I don't really expect it
to be that great at that as it is not advertised as waterproof.
Overall I think that this foundation is really good quality
for what I paid for it and the bottle contains a generous
amount of liquid foundation.
Now on to the Creme Puff Pressed powder, this was £5.99 and
I got it in the shade Truly Fair 81 because it was a more pinky
colour than orange and looked more like my natural colour without
being too pink.
I really like this pressed powder on top of the Face Finity Foundation because it just softens it out and makes my face look more natural.
This product also transfers onto my brushes really nicely.
I don't really have that much to say about this powder, but I really
like Creme Puff, I've used the Miss Sporty So Clear pressed powder
for a while and liked that but I have to say that this is actually a lot better.
I really would recommend this pressed powder, there is a wide range
of shades available for this product as well.
Did you know that Max Factor bought out his first waterproof
makeup in 1971?
